Our series, Memories, Dreams and Reflections of the 16th Karmapa which we began to commemorate the anniversary year of Karmapa 900, was so popular we are continuing to collect stories of the 16th Karmapa to post on the blog. When you read these stories it is clear that the 16th Karmapa’s activity happened when he was on the road, traveling from place to place, and meeting people. His freedom to move spontaneously enabled his activity to flourish. In the same way we are dedicating this series to the spontaneous activity and freedom of the 17th Karmapa. May he go wherever he wants, whenever he wants so that the whole world is ablaze with the light of dharma.
